Badrudduja Chishty is one of the distinguished Syedzadgan at the Holy Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty — the revered Dargah of Gharib Nawaz in Ajmer Sharif. Born into a sacred lineage of spiritual custodians, he is a living embodiment of the Chishti tradition of love, devotion, and service to all.
His family has been entrusted with the spiritual guardianship of the Dargah for generations. Badrudduja Chishty upholds this noble responsibility with sincerity and humility, welcoming all who come seeking solace and guidance.

The Sufi Path
Deeply rooted in the Chishti Sufi tradition, Badrudduja Chishty walks the path of Tasawwuf — the inner spiritual dimension of Islam. The Chishti order is known for its emphasis on love (ishq), remembrance (zikr), poverty of spirit, and service to all humanity without distinction of faith or background.
He has dedicated himself to preserving and living these timeless teachings, guiding seekers on the inner journey of the heart toward nearness to Allah.
Role at the Academy
As a founding Director of the Quran and Sunnah Research Academy Foundation (QASRA), Badrudduja Chishty brings the depth of Sufi wisdom to the Academy’s mission. He works alongside fellow Director Syed Ali Hamza Chishty to build a centre of authentic Islamic learning rooted in evidence, sincerity, and service.
QASRA combines classical Islamic scholarship with the spiritual insight of the Chishti tradition — making both accessible to the contemporary world, free of sectarianism and empty slogans.
